Livestock Investment Marketplace

(AgriTech × Islamic Finance — Blackbox Project)

Project Overview

At 3techno, we were commissioned to conceptualize, design, and build a complete digital marketplace for livestock investment and trading — aligned with Islamic finance principles. The goal was to allow users in Pakistan and beyond to invest in, buy, sell, or trade livestock such as goats, cows, camels, and poultry, all through a smartphone or web interface.

The platform was tailored for Shariah-compliant investments, enabling users to become digital livestock owners while certified farms managed the animal rearing. It was positioned to modernize how meat and livestock are monetized, especially around religious and seasonal markets like Eid ul Adha, while offering ethical returns and traceable meat sources.

Despite strong technical groundwork, the platform didn’t proceed to launch due to market readiness, local trust barriers, and operational execution complexities. Nonetheless, the project played a vital role in expanding our portfolio in AgriTech and Islamic fintech models.
